Single flank rolling test for worm gears and worm pairs. Checking of single and cumulative pitch errors for left and right flank and twist flank clearance.

The universal measuring device checks the mounting position of worm and worm wheel as well as various parameters and running behavior of the worm gear.

The measurement results are evaluated and recorded by computer.

Gear inspection by means of single flank rolling method.
ZMS 400 WS is single flank roll tester for testing worm gears in their practical mounting situation. It has a fixed and a movable axis in crosswise arrangement. By means of worms manu-factured in high accuracy the device checks first the left flanks of the worm gear and after one complete circulation the right flanks of the worm gear.

The ZMS 400 WS is equipped with measuring electronics, the most accurate evaluations of center distance deviations and runout errors on the workpieces are generated on a PC with printout of a test chart.
